Party, Party, Party!!!

Today was Madeline's "official" second birthday party. We started off the day with some breakfast at Grandma Judy's house. Madeline and Grandma Judy shared some watermelon :-) Once it was good and hot outside Madeline jumped in her pool. Since her gift from Godmother Alyssa and Glen was a water toy she got to open it right there! Wow, it's Rocket and Leo from the Little Einsteins - how perfect!!!
She was getting a little chilly so we took her in to change clothes and she found more presents... A bubble blower from Eric, And an airplane from Dave :-) Then we moved the party to the garage and she sat on Great-Grandma Weiers' lap to open her card. Wow, she's rich! Thanks Grandma Weiers :-) Then it was time to eat!
Chips, Pickles and Cheeseburgers - all of Madeline's favorites :-) Thank you grandma for making such good food! After dinner she got to open her gifts from Great-Uncle Marv, Great-Aunt Kim and cousin Greta. A Dora book and a new swim suit - Thank You!!! Next was her gift from Mom and Dad... her very own tricycle! Let's give it a try! The rest of the night was spent showing off her new suit and riding her new toys. We even had a few races with Godmother Alyssa and Daddy. What an awesome birthday party!!!! Thank you everyone :-)

Fourth of July

We started out our 4th at Great-Grandma Weiers' house. The whole family was there and they were having a funny hat contest! Madeline's hat wasn't very funny, but it sure was cute :-) Grandma Judy's hat, on the other hand, was pretty funny... She hung out with cousin Alyshia and Kate, and Cousin Sarah. She even got to drive the tractor :-) Later that afternoon we went back to Grandma Judy's and played outside -
it was so fun :-) Madeline especially liked helping Cousin Becky and Aunt Alyssa set up their tent! Fireworks were still a little too late for Madeline... maybe next year :-)

Fun at Grandma Judy's

Today we were at Grandma Judy's house. Madeline practiced her counting And told us all about the beautiful colors of all the flowers :-) We always have a good time at Grandma Judy's house :-)

She's Two!!!

It's hard to believe another whole year has already gone by!!!
To start off this special day we did Madeline's favorite thing - playing at the park :-) Mom tried to capture a few good pictures while she was playing and this is how they turned out: Pretty good - but it's not hard when you have such a cutie to work with :-)
For lunch Grandma Judy, Aunt Melanie and Great-Grandma Jen came up to help us celebrate! We drove up to Daddy's work and he met us too :-) While we were waiting for our order Madeline got to open a few gifts. She loved them all... A pink cup with her name on it A heart book, a purple shovel, a bucket and a beach ball from Great-Grandma Jen and a musical Little Einstiens book from Mom & Dad! The restaurant gave her a gift too - dessert!
It was HUGE!!! We let her go at it by herself for a little while, but it took all of us to finish it off :-)
Later that night she opened her birthday package from Grandpa and Grandma Frantz. Once she got through all of the paper she found an animal puzzle and 12 number puzzles! The other package had a basketball hoop in it - we'll have to wait for mommy and daddy to put this one together before we can play with it!

Today we took Madeline in to get her 2 year pictures taken... They turned out great!
