Today we went to the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory with Grandma Sonja & Grandma Judy. We walked everywhere and saw all sorts of animals. 
We also got to plant a few acorns - I hope we can get them to grow! 
Madeline loved looking at the real animals but also got a kick out of this bronze turtle :-)
After looking at the big fish in the aquarium
we took a quick walk through the conservatory to look at all of the pretty flowers. We found one that had fallen on to the ground - 
it was such a pretty purple. 
Madeline also liked the yellow flowers. 
They had a craft area, so Madeline painted her very own flower pot! We'll have to get some flowers to plant in it :-) 
To end our trip we looked at all of the colorful fish in the coy pond. 
What a great day!
