It was time to say good-bye to Godmother Alyssa and Glen today. They're headed back to Ohio - Madeline didn't want them to leave!
To get her mind off of saying good-bye, we headed to St. Paul for the Taste of Minnesota on Harriet Island. It didn't take her long to start enjoying herself :-) Following Daddy and Grandma
and looking at the river were great fun. 
It was REALLY hot so Madeline just had to try her first snow cone - yuuuuumy :-)
Next it was off to the carnival.
She rode the bees with mommy,
the Big Slide with daddy (3 times),
the pink shell all be herself 
and the carousel with mom -
